Greetings
For starters I love all music and especially I love the process of music creation I recently moved here from Oklahoma and had to leave my band behind to do so What I am looking for are musicians that are versed enough in music to know what to do if someone puts a guitar/mic/drum set in front of them I am not looking for genius prodigies Or zack wylds I have been in and around music my whole life and have found first and foremost that it is better to grow in skill with someone limited in music and refine ability’s together then to simply jump into the process technical skill blazing to the wind.
For my part I am a guitarist but I can pretty much play anything with strings on it There is not one aspect though of music that I have not been apart of Everything from lead vocals to studio editing and processing I have done it all (even some managing but never again lol)
My primary inspirations include the obvious classics Led zeppelin Jimi Hendrix and all the others My biggest inspirations however and the core as a primer for my future music projects Include bands like skinny puppy, ministry and Einsturzende Neubauten
what I am looking to create in a band this time around Is something progressive darker and new and not hemmed in by older styles A kind of sound that is apparently made and inspired by this day and age with some light Reflections of the older music (as mentioned above) that has come before
I am not coming into this empty handed though I have all the required equipment for a full working recording studio And enough computer power to back it all up

yeah that could be a problem lol this reminds me of a few points i forgot to mention in my post
1. the band itself i am putting together here in Minneapolis provided that i can find the people for a good line up.
2. (and also) i have worked on project's with musicians i have never seen in person before (i.e. email, ftp and messenger) and i have a dozen or so varied project ideas that all (no matter the distance) are welcome to collaborate with me on, I'll post some of those soon :)
